چکیده
Carbonation of cement-based materials may lead to durability problems, so that it is necessary find a way reduce the effect carbonation on concrete durability. This study investigated effects cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) carbonated materials. Two dosages CNFs were used prepare cement pastes and mortars. Before after accelerated (4 % CO 2 concentration 57 relative humidity), their microstructure, mineralogical composition, moisture retention capacity, drying kinetics, water absorption measured. Results show contents hydration products (CH, C-S-H, ettringite) slightly decrease with increase dosage. After carbonation, ratios dosage more remain in The calcite content was found which help transformation other metastable calcium carbonates calcite. coarsening pore structure clearly observed measured size distribution for all materials, while our results this weakened by CNFs. Moisture transport but acceleration rate diminished increasing CNFs, suggesting are able microstructural damage carbonation.

CO2 Sequestration in Cement-Based Materials During Mixing Process Using Carbonated Water and Gaseous CO2
This paper presents selected findings from a recently completed research project, aimed at the investigation of CO2 sequestration in cement-based materials during the early stages of hydration when the cement paste is being mixed. Portland cement pastes were carbonated during the mixing process, using both carbonated water and gaseous CO2, and their properties were compared to the control non-c...
متن کاملBiodegradable Nanocomposite Films Based on Sodium Alginate and Cellulose Nanofibrils
Biodegradable nanocomposite films were prepared by incorporation of cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) into alginate biopolymer using the solution casting method. The effects of CNF content (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 wt %) on mechanical, biodegradability and swelling behavior of the nanocomposite films were determined. The results showed that the tensile modulus value of the nanocomposite films increased...
